With a background in broadcast news, I’m an experienced public speaker on themes such as multiplatform business models and commissioning opportunities, how digital technology is changing TV and what that means for producers, what multiplatform and social means for news and content operations. I designed and hosted a year long Channel 4 events programme for 500 TV/film producers to understand technology and new platforms.

My goal is to genuinely help audiences and participants understand the complexity of the media landscape, in ways that enable them to make informed strategic choices for the future.

Clients and events include: Edinburgh TV Festival, Children’s Media Summit, Indielab, Create London, Dok Fest, Sunny Side of the Doc, AOP, Bima and many more.

Workshop lead/trainer

I’ve designed and lead many workshops and training sessions on subjects such as business strategy and leadership, building audiences and making money online, how to create and manage an IP business, social media, how AI is transforming TV and the film industry, multiplatform strategies, compliance and editorial responsibilities for online publishing businesses.

Clients include: Documentary Campus, Pact, Channel 4, Film City Futures.
